5 Tricks to Speed Up Your Laptop

Is your computer starting to slow down? Kevin has your back with these simple tips, guaranteed to give your laptop some energy!

  • Set your laptop to Best Performance Mode by right-clicking the Windows logo, selecting Power Options, and choosing Best Performance under power mode settings.
  • Uninstall apps you no longer use by right-clicking the Windows logo, opening Installed Apps, and removing unnecessary programs to free up system resources.
  • Disable unnecessary startup apps by pressing Windows + I, searching for Startup Apps, and turning off apps that launch automatically when your computer starts.
  • Turn on Storage Sense in Settings to automatically delete temporary files and free up valuable storage space.
  • Improve speed by reducing visual effects. Search for Adjust appearance and performance in the Start menu and disable animations and other visual effects you don’t need.
